CONGRATULATIONS MARIA!

In the short months I have known Maria, I have seen her dedication and drive in what she does here at Femme Fatale, along with her husband Richard.  Her passion for helping women, and truly Empowering them is palpable. It is who she is, and what motivates her every day.

We are very excited to CONGRATULATE Maria on her nomination for the Female Small Business Owner of the Year Award!

Every year in March, in honor of Women’s History Month, weVENTURE WBC hosts the Women Who Rock Awards event to celebrate some of the amazing women in our community.  They recognize the many contributions these fine women bring to us locally and celebrate their successes and the inspiration they offer others following in their footsteps.

In the short months I have known Maria, I have seen her dedication and drive in what she does here at Femme Fatale, along with her husband Richard.  Her passion for helping women, and truly Empowering them is palpable. It is who she is, and what motivates her every day.

A few weeks ago, while I was in their Sweet Women’s Gun Store, I was perusing their many excellent “Statement” Tees, trying to pick an outfit to wear to my first gun class!  😂….I know, right??!!  Gotta look good on the range!  I needed a confidence costume for sure!

Maria said, hey, if you don’t find the color, or size you like, let’s just go in the back, and I’ll make you one.  Excuse me!!?  YOU PERSONALLY make these shirts…..?  Well, yeah….she said nonchalantly…..but it was quite impressive to me!  We head to the back,  where she unveiled a good-sized Heat Press Transfer machine. She designs each T-shirt, orders the transfers, and then heat presses them onto the shirts.  There happened to be a shirt that had been done incorrectly hanging nearby, she said it has truly been a learning process.  Trial and error, she is still fine tuning her method, can’t have it too hot, or too cool….or it will not stick, or if the fabric isn’t held just right, it will clump up, etc.  She is still mastering her technique.

I bring this up, because it is EXACTLY like her efforts to perfect the training classes at Femme Fatale and Arms!!  The company, established in 2014, has been an enormously satisfying work in progress…..and A LOT of blood, sweat, and tears getting where they are today.  The instruction and methods they use are unique to FFA, they have had to try and fail, tweak and improve tirelessly over the past several years…..to finally make it to a place where training is at its highest level. A level that finally receives Maria’s stamp of approval.

You have well-earned the nomination for the award, “WOMAN WHO ROCKS”….. Thank you for all you do to EMPOWER the Women…and men… in our community.

Come to the store and pick up your next T-shirt!  Make a statement without saying a word!😏  Browse the shop, schedule your next class, and see for yourself all Femme Fatale Arms has to offer every shooter.

See you on the Range,

Melissa ❤️
